6th June 2004 Windsurfing: Portland Wind Direction: SW Wind Stength: 5 Knots Surf / Sea State: Flat Air Temperature: 29 Sea Temperature: Weather: Sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered: It was never going to be an epic sailing day, but the weather looked set for a good family beach day. Met up with J and SJ and watched them enjoy a classic summers day on the water. SJ improving nicely for Vass next month. Rigged big and went out later in the day after waiting for a possible sea-breeze. Cruised around for a while and them tried some freestyle tricks in the shallows. Best trick?.......a cross between jousting and chicken where you try and grab the oppositions clew as they go past! JaneBo went out a bit later, but the wind had dropped even more. Starting to get the hang of looking after a baby whilst we take it in turns to sail, hope it is still easy when the wind is blowing! |
